Career Description

Airline Pilot are required to fly different type of aircrafts such as helicopters and airplanes, in order to transport cargo and passengers to various destinations. Pilots are responsible for tasks such as checking the weather and confirming fight plans before departing. Typically, pilots are not permitted to fly more than 1000 hours in a year, 125 hours a month and 30 ours a week. To obtain a commercial pilot’s license, 250 hours of flight time as well as 1,500 hours of flight time for an airline transport pilot certificate. Airline pilots are required to retire at 65, and this is creating a demand for new pilots.
